Use of neural networks in classification of heart diseases
Skřížala, Martin ; Tannenberg, Milan (referee) ; Hrubeš, Jan (advisor)
This thesis discusses the design and the utilization of the artificial neural networks as ECG classifiers and the detectors of heart diseases in ECG signal especially myocardial ischaemia. The changes of ST-T complexes are the important indicator of ischaemia in ECG signal. Different types of ischaemia are expressed particularly by depression or elevation of ST segments and changes of T wave. The first part of this thesis is orientated towards the theoretical knowledges and describes changes in the ECG signal rising close to different types of ischaemia. The second part deals with to the ECG signal pre-processing for the classification by neural network, filtration, QRS detection, ST-T detection, principal component analysis. In the last part there is described design of detector of myocardial ischaemia based on artificial neural networks with utilisation of two types of neural networks back – propagation and self-organizing map and the results of used algorithms. The appendix contains detailed description of each neural networks, description of the programme for classification of ECG signals by ANN and description of functions of programme. The programme was developed in Matlab R2007b.
Nursing care of the patient with ischemic heart disease
Šedová, Lenka ; Heřmanová, Jana (advisor) ; Jirásek, Vít (referee)
Autor práce: Lenka Šedová Vedoucí práce: Mgr. Jana Heřmanová Odborný konzultant: MUDr. Vít Jirásek Téma práce: A Nursing Care of the Patient with Diagnosis Coronary Artery Disease after Surgery Abstract: The aim of the work is to report on the case of a 79-year-old patient after cardiac surgical intervention. The surgery was indicated for coronary artery disease. The clinical part deals with the characteristics and stages of ACD. It also deals with the diagnosis and treatments of UP (unstable angina). The next part describes the patient's hospitalization. The last part describes the palliative care of this patient, his psychological rehabilitation and his return to daily life. The nursing history is formulated according to the theory of Virginie Henderson. An important role in the reduction of complications is the education of patient. Key words: ACD, UA, nursing proces, Henderson's theory, aortocoronary bypass, Warfarin, methods of invstigation, self-sufficiency, self-care
Awareness of overweight people and people without overweight on the risk of cardiovascular dise
Hladíková, Lenka ; Marádová, Eva (advisor) ; Hanušová, Jaroslava (referee)
This thesis deals with awareness of overweight and non-overweight people about of the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The goal is to determine the level of knowledge of both groups in the section of cardiovascular diseases and their interest in this issue. Next goal is to determine the degree of difference in awareness in this issue between the sexes. The theoretical part provides information about obesity (causes, symptoms, complications, treatment). It also deals with frequent cardiovascular diseases - hypertension, atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular accident, and dyslipidemia. One of chapters is devoted to projects that address prevention of obesity and cardiovascular diseases. The practical part of work describes examined group that participated in the survey. Analysis of the results shows that people who are not overweight or obese are more informed about the risks of cardiovascular disease than overweight and obese people, because they are less interested in this issue. Women are better informed in the section of cardiovascular diseases than men. 14 individuals out of 89 members of research is interested in the issue of cardiovascular diseases. Only 12 individuals is adequately informed of the issue of cardiovascular disease. Work includes eating plan...
